Trouble in The Streets Joins Inside Out Presents Roster

Inside Out Presents would like to introduce and welcome Austin-based trio Trouble in The Streets to our roster! Taken from the lyrics of a Nigerian 70’s funk song, Trouble in The Streets has morphed themselves into conduits of social change using their music to mirror the times we live in.

They are self-described “electro tribe,” a fusion of diverse genres including hip hop, R&B, electronic dance and psychedelic progressive rock. The band, consisting of Nnedi (vocals, keys), Andy (bass, synth, electronics) and Robert (drums, electronic percussion), recently released their debut EP “Electro Tribe” this past December.

Their unique sound has quickly gained appreciation from collaborators like Grammy Award winner Beto Martinez of Grupo Fantasma, George Clinton of the Parliament Funkadelic, and the Rebirth Brass Band, and fans alike.

Keep an eye out for how you can get some funk and culture in your lives from Trouble in The Streets coming soon to our blog. You can also catch them at Head For The Hills Music & Festival. In the meantime, follow Trouble in The Streets on Facebook, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
