Can’t wait until Sonic Bloom 2017? We’ve got a magical pre-party with a stacked lineup to tide you over until next June!
Join us at Sonic Blossom, a Sonic Bloom pre-party at Cervantes Masterpiece and Other Side in Denver on Friday, November 11, 2016.
Sonic Bloom is known for its truly transformative festival approach, in which art, yoga, inspirational workshops and nature play just as big of a part in the experience as the music. It also balances crowd-drawing headliners with local artists, so the pre-party is the perfect place to get acquainted with some of Denver’s best new acts. Learn more about Sonic Bloom on their website.
True to the Sonic Bloom vibe, Casual Commander, Dynohunter and StéLouse will represent Colorado as openers, along with The Maytags, Sass Factor, Funkstatik and Covex. Also true to the festival is the wide range of electronica music styles you can check out at this event.
Hailing from Canada, Defunk brings his unique mix of funk, jazz, blues and heavy bass music to Sonic Blossom with one goal in mind–to give you the irresistible urge to groove. Following Defunk is Wick-It the Instigator, whose name aptly applies. Wick-It the Instigator is a multi-genre DJ and producer whose reputation is already beginning to precede him. He recently reached #5 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart, and is known for not only his original remixes but also for his sense of humor while onstage.
Dirtwire will close the Sonic Blossom party, which runs until 2 a.m. Dirtwire is the future of Americana comprised of multi-instrumentalist David Satori (Beats Antique) and Evan Fraser (Hamsa Lila; Stellamara). It would be a disservice to try to explain their sound; rather, how about we give you a taste of just a few of the instruments conjuring up their unique sound? Violin, banjo, acoustic guitar, slide guitar, slide banjo, jimbush, kone, guimbri, ilimba, piano and much more…you must see it for yourself.
